VLT (Visible Light Transmission) VLT&#xA0;refers to the amount of visible light that passes through the lens and reaches your eyes. It is expressed as a percentage, with lower values meaning the lens blocks more light and higher values meaning the lens allows more light in.Low VLT% (5-20%): Allows less light to pass through, ideal for bright and sunny conditions. High VLT% (50-100%): Allows more light to pass through, suitable for overcast, cloudy, or low-light conditions.Recommendation&#xA0;for different weather conditions: Choosing the right VLT and lens color is crucial to optimizing visibility and comfort in varying weather conditions. For bright sun, a low VLT with a mirrored finish offers excellent protection, while in overcast or foggy conditions, higher VLT with contrasting colours like yellow will improve depth perception and clarity. Mirrored lenses are very useful in sunny conditions as they reduces glare.Sunny VLT: 5-20%. Colour: Black, Grey, Darker colours. Lenses:&#xA0;Silver Mirrored (19%), Dark Grey (17%). Why: Blocks excessive light and reduces glare from snow.Partly Cloudy VLT: 20-40%. Colour: Green, Blue, Grey. Lenses: Green Mirrored (22%). Why: Allows enough light in while still providing some protection from bright spots.Overcast or Snowy VLT: 40-70%. Colour: Yellow. Lenses: Yellow overcast (55%).
