RETURN POLICY
You can return your item within 30 days of receiving it. Please note that while the item does not need to reach us within this timeframe, you must submit your return request in our system within the 30-day period.

IMPORTANT
Exchange & Gift card: Return your product for another item or a gift card within 30 days.
Refund: Return your product for a refund within 14 days.


*The selected return solution is final and cannot be reversed. Exchanges cannot be re-submitted in our return system. If you have a problem, please contact hello@messyweekend.


RETURNS 
Exchange: We will cover all return costs if you wish to exchange your product.
Gift card or Refund: If you request a gift card or a refund, a 39 DKK // 6 EUR // 5 GBP return shipping fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. Please note that any previously paid delivery costs are non-refundable.

Please use the appropriate return portal below, based on whether you paid in DKK, EUR or GBP. Use your email and order number to access the portal. After submitting your return, a prepaid return label will be generated and sent to your email:

When you have received your return label, you have 14 days to return the parcel. Your return will be processed when we have received your returned item(s). The processing time is 1-5 business days.


RETURNS FROM JAPAN, USA, CANADA & SWITZERLAND
You are responsible for covering the full return shipping costs. We cannot provide return labels from your destination and recommend purchasing a label with tracking information at your local post office or parcel shop. Please reach out to [email protected] with your order number and tracking details once you have handed in your parcel for return. Shipping with tracking is mandatory.

RETURN CONDITIONS
The return will only be accepted if the item is unused and returned in its original and intact packaging box (the sealing MW sticker does not need to be intact). If the product has been used  - besides size and fit checking - you cannot return the item. Please include your order number when packing your item(s) for return.

RETURN GUIDELINES
Returns using our generated return labels are shipped with the same shipping method as the original order. When you have received your return label, you have 14 days to hand in the parcel.

If you purchase a return label on your own, you are responsible for ensuring that the parcel is successfully delivered back to our warehouse. If you choose to use a return label other than the one generated through our return portal, you must provide us with the tracking information as proof of successful delivery. Please note that MESSYWEEKEND will not reimburse any return shipping costs incurred by purchasing your own label.


RETURN OPTIONS: STORE CREDIT, EXCHANGE OR REFUND
When you request a return you have 3 options. We offer store credit, exchange or a refund. Your return will be processed once we receive your return parcel. Please include your order number when packing your item(s).

GIFT CARD
Return within 30 days
Receive a gift card with the full value of your purchase (potential shipping costs are not included). The gift card will be sent to your email and is valid for 2 years.

EXCHANGE
Return within 30 days
You can exchange your item(s) for another product. You can only exchange for products in stock. If the model you wish to receive is no longer in stock, we will reach out to discuss the selection of another product or offer you a gift card. 

If the new product you would like to exchange for is more expensive, we will send you a payment link for the difference. Once the payment is completed, the new product will be shipped. 

If the new product is less expensive, you will receive a partial refund for the difference.

REFUND
Return within 14 days
A refund will be issued to the same payment method used for purchase. If you request a refund, a return shipping fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. Please note that any previously paid delivery costs are non-refundable. If the returned item(s) makes any special vouchers applied invalid, the refunded amount will be adjusted as well.

Please note that payments can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider. You will be notified when your return has been processed and issued. 


RETURN OF GLASSES WITH PRESCRIPTION
Prescription glasses can be returned under the following circumstances:
Manufacturer's Error
If there is a mistake in the production of the prescription glasses (e.g., incorrect prescription lenses, wrong frame, or any other manufacturing defect), you are entitled to a full refund, exchange, or store credit. The return process must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the order.

Faulty Products
Customers are entitled to return faulty products. If the glasses are faulty or not as described, you can request a repair, replacement, or refund within 30 days of purchase.

You are not entitled to return prescription glasses in the following situations:
Customer Error
If the details provided by the customer (such as prescription details or frame choice) are incorrect, and the glasses have been made according to these details, the glasses cannot be returned. This includes incorrect prescription values, lens type, or frame selection provided by the customer during the ordering process.
