My sunglasses are too big/loose - can this be fixed or do they need to be returned?Updated 15 days ago

If you have a pair of acetate sunglasses - YES, they can be fixed!

We have received a number of inquiries about our NEW DEPP model being a bit too loose. Luckily, it is super easy to adjust acetate sunglasses to make them fit you much better!

Acetate is very easy to shape. You can use the heat from your hands or you can use a hairdryer to warm the acetate up a bit so it is easier to shape. There are two ways to fix your acetate sunglasses:

1. If the temples (arms) are too wide, you can fix that by gently bending each of the temples toward the other, creating a tighter fit.

Here's how:

Step 1 - Firmly grasp one of the temples close to the screw that attaches it to the rest of the frame with the one hand, and with the other hand grasp the tip of the same temple.

Step 2 - Gently pull the tip of the temple inward.

Step 3 - Enjoy your snug sunglasses!

2. If the temples are too straight and don't hook around your ears well enough, causing the sunglasses to slip down your nose or fall off entirely, you can fix that by bending the ends of the temples (arms) down- and inward, so they sit more securely on your face.

Here's how:

Step 1 - Firmly grasp the tip of one of the temples with one hand and hold firmly onto the other end of the temple with the other hand.

Step 2 - Bend the tip down- and inward until it is adjusted to your liking.

Step 3 - Enjoy your super snug sunglasses!
